The expression "qualia" was introduced in philosophical literature by C. I. Lewis. The phrase is derived from Latin and indicates "of what form". It is essentially a quantity or home of a thing as perceived or seasoned by a person, like the scent of rose, the flavor of wine, or the discomfort of a headache. They are difficult to articulate or expla
